Rochester Male Chorus

Rochester's Ambassadors of Song greet you and thank you for visiting our home on the Web.

The Rochester Male Chorus, organized in 1930, consists of nearly 40 men who love to sing.  We come from all over southeastern Minnesota, and our ages span over fifty years.  We practice once a week, except in the summer, and give several performances during the year, primarily at Christmas and in mid-spring.

We invite men of all ages to join us.  Come for a night to check us out, and you might find yourself staying for years. Our rehearsals happen on Monday nights at 7:00 PM in the choir room of Peace United  Church of Christ, 1503 Second Av NE, in Rochester, September through May.

Our Christmas concert season culminated with our main concert at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.  Hope you got to enjoy the special time with us.

We are doing something a bit different for our annual spring dinner concert (20 May at Bethel Lutheran Church, 810 Third Av SE).  In addition to the usual singing waiters (chorus members) providing entertainment interspersed with dinner courses, and our popular silent auction, we are featuring a raffle with some very tantalizing prizes, including evening lodging at the Broadway Suites residence or the Eagle's Rest bed and breakfast on the Mississippi in Reads Landing.  You can purchase dinner tickets, $25 each, from any chorus member.  Raffle tickets are $10 each, also available from chorus members.
